Services

  • Advocacy & Outreach

Eagle’s Flight was birthed out of advocating for the special needs child of our founder. Our partnerships with Edgewood ISD, Life Change Centers, San Antonio Christian Church, Redeemer's Praise Church and other ministries and organizations enable us to advocate for and reach many more in our community. Support from Glenn Verette, Kym Rapier Verette, The Ancira Dealership, The Hartman Family Foundation, Hill Country Daily Bread, Trader Joe's and HEB have been instrumental in establishing our service for the greater good. For more information on our sponsors please visit our sponsors page under About Us.

  • Summer Animal Therapy

We provide guided horseback riding, animal play, and sensory play to special needs, foster, and abused children. Through this summer therapy program children learn to interact with the animals and gain the ability to interact independently with them. Therapists and volunteers supervise children through this guided play. Children of all functioning levels are welcome. Siblings of special needs children are urged to participate. Lunch is served at the end of every session in a family style setting. Specialized equipment and skilled volunteers ensure the safety of the children. The Allen Hacienda is located off of Ralph Fair Road.

  • Baby Moses

If you have a newborn, 60 days old or younger, that you’re unable to care for, you can leave your baby at a designated safe site with no questions asked. Your baby must be unharmed and placed into the arms of a safe site employee. The Baby Moses law, gives parents who are unable to care for their child a safe and legal choice to leave their infant with an employee at a safe site which includes; a hospital, fire station, or emergency medical services (EMS) station. Eagles Flight will continue to provide mothers and organizations with this information so we can help a mother make a safe choice.

  • Danielle's Legacy of Love

Danielle's legacy of love was created after we witnessed the life and death of Danielle. She was surrounded by her parents and loved ones as she was called home. That life changing event helped us as we began to organize funerals and for abandoned infants and children who have been victims of deadly abuse. In 2013, our first child, Noel, set the tone for all the infants and children who followed him. We will continue to provide loving funerals for those infants who have been taken so quickly.
