The Nest will assist our special needs adults with exciting opportunities for socialization and job skill training while providing Learning and volunteer opportunities. Our Center will also house arts and crafts, music and sensory room and other exciting activities.

We are located at 14855 Blanco Rd. In the Courtyard Business Center.

Our team is lead by Christina Leach former NISD ALE teacher. Christina is a passionate advocate and educator dedicated to providing authentic learning experiences for individuals with special needs. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of Texas at San Antonio and a Master of Arts degree in Special Education from the University of Texas of the Permian Basin.

Christina began her career as a 2nd grade teacher in the San Antonio Independent School District, where she honed her skills and developed a deep understanding of the importance of inclusive education. She later transitioned to the Northside Independent School District where she spent a decade as a Special Education teacher for grades K-8. Her innovative teaching methods earned her recognition as Educator of the Year.

Christina is a devoted wife and mother of four children. Her journey was influenced by one of her children who has special needs. Her personal and professional experiences fuel her dedication to creating a supportive and inclusive environment for all members of The Nest, ensuring that each individual has the opportunity to thrive and succeed.
